My mother-in-law treated "her girls" to tea today at the local tea room. I never had tea parties while I was a little girl, or played dress-up. To "play pretend" never seemed logical to me, even as a child. Only through adulthood did I finally gain a better understanding and appreciation of the art of pretense. ( :
