Disheveled

5 Things not left unsaid:

I love all your photos, but especially that top one. Are you using a digital camera? I also love that clock. What are the books stacked underneath of it?

Pics of New York soon...I'm not feeling bloggish today.

Affirmative on the digital! I just don't have the patience for all that developing. And having to pay for all those bad pictures just to get the one good one...ugh.

As for the books, there's a biography of James Boswell (the biographer of Dr. Johnson, the writer of the first English dictionary), Scarlet Slept Here ( a book about all the literary places to visit in the South), a scrapbook with no scraps in it (but with an antique-looking map of Iceland on it), and a coffee table book of Tibet, which serves as a quiet consolation to a semi-sedentary life.

Oh, and a very back issue of Vogue that is supposed to serve as inspiration to get dangerously skinny. Forgot.

I suppose I'm becoming haphazardly and disappointingly shallow as I move toward mid-life.

I would love to visit all the literary haunts of the South!
