I long for New York City. I've never been. I'd wear red in your subways. I would smile at everyone in Central Park. I would tip very well all of your baristas and cab drivers. I would chat up the homeless, and I wouldn't get jaded the first, or even the second time I got mugged. Maybe the third time, I would, but I wouldn't dry up and leave. I would just toast another Cosmopolitan to the skyline and call it karma ...And what I'd do for a brownstone. I deserve a brownstone.

Hey, I was about to comment on your Paris post and then it disappeared. Anyway, we need to go to New York together! And Paris!
I changed my mind about Paris ( : At least for a little while. But NYC is in our future!
When you go to New York, you must go to Zabar's and to Fairway on the Upper West Side. Then you will be fulfilled, and full of food.
I also deserve a brownstone.
