My street, in early summer

I want to learn to talk in terms of seasons rather than time. Example. I was listening to a Leonard Cohen interview on National Public Radio in the car today, and the interviewer asked him when he wrote his book. He didn't give a specific time, but rather said that he "finished it in the winter." That struck me as quite beautiful because he sounded as if he is a person who is very in touch with the natural rhythms of things rather than some man-made and controlled invention.
