Click on the image to reveal the little bit of truth that I'd wished someone had told me when I was three. And four, and five, and twenty-five, etc.
Jon J. Muth is the kind of children's writer who inspires you (once you've tucked your child snugly into his bed and you've closed up the bedtime story) to abscond with the book to the living room where you can read it again to yourself. This particular page comes from the book Three Questions and is based on the Tolstoy story of the same name. He also does his own artwork, which just tugs at my creative heartstrings.
