Blustery

Yes, that's snow. In Georgia. In March. My husband just laughed and shook his head when I, desperate, felt moved to throw an old blanket over my poor daffodils. The wind just blew it off anyway, but by that time, the sun had come back out again. It all evens out, I'm finding.

Elizabeth is being yelled at by her mother for not accepting marriage to Mr. Collins. Pride and Prejudice is on the Oxygen channel tonight, and with the combination of Merlot that resides on my side table, it is quickly becoming the perfect evening. I've spent the day tidying the house, decorating my basement writing-cubby, and clearing the clutter that once inhabited my basement.

What I'm looking forward to...I've ordered these for my little PT Cruiser. Love them! And this, this, and this, and oh-yes-this for my front yard. And much to the chagrin of my eyebrow-raising husband, I will receive these (of the flowering sort) as a free gift for joining the Arbor Day Foundation. Happy Spring, ya'll. And hubby, grab a shovel, love. There's beauty-making to do, and we're taking dominion of our little bit of earth.
