The Dixie Divas

I had the keenest pleasure in meeting the Dixie Divas (from left: Karin Gillespie, Jackie Miles, and Patricia Sprinkle) at Foxtale Books today. Southern authors who often travel together to book signings and readings in the same car, these fine ladies are a joy and inspiration to sit and listen to. I came away with so much more than their signed books--there was also the underlying goading of what is possible if you just have the gumption and audacity to be who you really are. Well done, ladies.
