Tater tots and Tea Cups

1. I'm beginning to worry if blogging every single day is healthy.

2. I placed an old paperback copy of my childhood favorite Where the Red Fern Grows in the bathroom the other day, which is where I put anything I want my husband to read. He's now become so immersed in it that the copy has made it out of the bathroom and into the living room. Score one for me.

3. I'm packing my bags for a whirlwind trip to Louisiana in a couple of days, and I'm desperately trying to get myself in the "going" mood. Thus far, unsuccessfully. We have a wedding to attend (in which my husband is a groomsman and I am simply the wife tending to the child of the groomsman while the groomsman is off doing groomsman-type things.)

4. My little tater tot went back to school today and came home with great exhortations about finding mystery bugs with magnifying glasses and wanting to go to the "place with spinning teacups." Crap. Someone told him about Disney World. Why I oughta...

First, love that photo.

Second, quite selfishly, I think your blogging everyday is a tremendous idea. I certainly enjoy it, anyway.

I hope you have an incredible time this weekend. There should be good food, anyway, right?

I don't think my dear son knows about Disney World. I'm trying to keep it that way, bless his heart.

I absolutely LOVE that picture! Did you take that? Where can I get a copy?

Sorry, guys. Alas I can't take credit for this photo, nor can I tell you its original source. I do, however, LOVE it. A friend of mine sent it to me in an email because she said it reminded her of me. (: What a pal. (:
