This, dear readers, is the red velvet cake that my mom-in-law baked for my birthday lunch, and of which I ate a complete half, one forkful at a time from the refrigerator.
A wonderful shrimp salad--was delicious!
And here's my extremely worn out little boy (by that time), who just wanted some cake and ice cream already!
