Cool Beans Coffee, Marietta Square

Did you know that Van Gogh painted his "Starry Night" through an asylum window? And when he died, he'd only sold one painting? Thinking about this makes sipping my cafe au lait in the "Starry Night" room at Cool Beans Coffee extremely sentimental and surreal. I wish I could call him back, just for a day, from wherever his soul is resting, or is in unrest, smooth out the eternal worry from his brow if it still exists there, and buy him a coffee. I bet he'd love that little room, and I'd toast such a congratulatory toast to him to which he could only reply, "At last. At last."

Sigh~ Marietta Square. How I remember it in all its 4th of July loveliness.
Good times. Thanks for the memories.

Okay, who else appreciates the weirdness that the three of us, connected only recently in Blogland, all have this town square in common? (:
