that is so home-beautiful. i love the lavender. and the light--it looks just like what i imagine the south to feel like. you know i am tempted to go south for graduate school.

My whole house smells like lavender right now because I used Vanilla Lavender-scented fabric softener to wash all my linens.(In preparation for my grandparents' arrival tomorrow.) It's quite the intoxicant. Like an Emily Dickinson poem. Or maybe that's the glass of wine I just drank.

Regardless.

I like a look of agony because I know it's true;
Men cannot sham convulsion,
