I clipped this image from the Sunday newspaper--it positively haunts me. I don't know the title or the artist--it was in an advertisement. Who IS this woman, and what is it that she's looking at? I make up a new story every time I stare at her.

It's only one minute past her daughter's curfew, but she fears the worst.
Her husband is coming home across the empty stretch of land beside the house, carrying a bundle in his arms. She wonders what it could be.
Good ones, guys. I thought that she had come home early to find her husband and their new twenty-something housekeeper kissing in the family pool.
