The Road

My weekend travels led me here, to the doorstep of the Silk Road Traveler Cafe and Book Store. A couple of hurried steps from its front porch lie the train tracks of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The owner of the store (see photo) met me at the door and made me a wonderful cup of iced coffee while I scanned all of her beautiful notecards and stationery. I never have been able to resist a red door.
