I've spent many hours at this table. I journey back to it in my mind sometimes, and I give it reverence for its magic. It's tucked snugly in the Founder's Garden at the University of Georgia, and I would go there to study whenever the weather permitted. On summer days, I read Milton here before class. Reading Paradise Lost in a garden...it was one of the best times of my life, and I knew it at the time.
I took a trip back to Athens this past weekend. Magic still resides there.
