I spent yesterday afternoon finding my bliss. A friend of mine asked me to shoot some photos for her daughter's engagement and her son's graduation. I was a little nervous because I hadn't actually taken pictures of living, breathing, moving people before. I've done only still lifes with teapots and candles with no personalities unto themselves except that which I've assigned to them, but never people who come with personalities all their own in tact. Watching those images click into being before my eyes was like watching a road map being drawn up for my life. And the whole time, my friends seemed so heroically grateful, when all along they were doing me the favor.
