Magic

Through my job, I recently had the opportunity to interview a certified counselor who "takes it to the dirt," as she puts it, and treats her clients on horseback. So much gets said when people are taken off guard, out there in the pasture, riding on these huge animals. New territory is covered that lies dormant, distilled, on the therapist's couch. What's more, she says that the horses seem to "adapt" to each person's personality, knowing instinctively what he or she needs. Need to be broken down? The horse knows. Need to be built back up? The horse knows that, too.

As beautiful as those statues are, nothing compares to the velvet on a horse's nose! So so heartbreakingly beautiful. Like it was almost missed... just a peep in someone's dream or reality.
